Château Fort de Rambures

The estate which has been in the same family since its beginnings (11th century) comprises a castle, a gem of 15th century military architecture, listed as an Historical building in 1840.

A listed historical monument since 1840, a real fortified castle with its medieval defenses, transformed in the 17th century into a pleasure residence. Visit freely the corridors of time for a most immersive visit in history. Children and adults love it!

A listed historical monument since 1840, it is a remarkable example of 15th century military architecture, starred in the Michelin Green Guide and represented in France Miniature. With the aspect of a powerful fortress with enormous round towers connected by curtain walls with machicolations and a covered way, the castle was conceived to resist the artillery of the time. In freedom, you will walk through the corridors of time and you will discover the interior of the fortress transformed in the 18th century into a residence of pleasure, with in particular a dining room of neo-Gothic style, a Picardy furniture of the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries. The king's room welcomed Henri IV on several occasions. Since 2 years, many rooms are open in addition to offer an experience of visit always more fantastic. Park labeled "Remarkable Garden" and rose garden.
