Patrimoine naturel
The British had made it "New Brighton" because it was a very luxurious place. Pine trees were planted in 1850 to fix the sand. Today it is a beautiful little wood for walking. Several marked trails allow you to walk around it.
The Brighton Pine Wood or Bois de Brighton is ideally located between Saint-Valery-sur-Somme and Cayeux-sur-mer. A haven of peace where it is good to walk in the shelter of the wind. Planted in the 50s with the aim of fixing the sand, this place with the scents of pines and wilderness has become a good place to walk with several marked trails.
