Les Maugériades : Quintette Azalée

Azalea: a red flower with five petals, traditionally celebrating a variety of personalities. The quintet was formed at the Institut d?Enseignement Supérieur de la Musique in Aix-en-Provence. It was an opportunity for the five musicians to enrich their musical, human and professional experiences. They perform regularly at cultural events in Aix-en-Provence, concentrating on a repertoire of foreign pieces, originally composed for brass quintet. They also enrich their concert program with short pieces arranged along Canadian Brass lines, including West Side Story, Bach and Mozart.
