Exposition : Libre ?

Free? A theme in the form of interrogation and questioning in the face of global upheaval.
An exhibition by the artist collective Le Marronnier, and the women artists of the Dortmunder Gruppe
We are currently experiencing, and have been for some years now, major societal changes and crises of various kinds, which are bringing about significant changes on a global scale. Despite the progress humanity is making on a number of fronts, the freedoms we hold so dear are being eroded at international level, and must be defended more than ever. In this context, what vision do we have of freedom today? The artists of the collective have invited women artists from the Dortmunder Gruppe to work on this theme, and together we will propose our vision of freedom within the exhibition. Dealing with this subject in the former Carmelite monastery is also highly symbolic of the site?s original vocation. This doubly collective work will provide an opportunity for rich exchanges between artists, and above all with the public!
