The opening concert of the second Festival Boreas is scheduled for Saint-Blimont. The evening will pay tribute to the musical dynamism developed by the Saint-Blimont wind band, directed by Adrien Pruvot, in partnership with the Conservatoire de la Baie de Somme. The concert will focus on the French horn, which has always fascinated the great composers. Its repertoire, often ignored by the general public, is nonetheless rich and varied.
The Samara Horn Quartet, made up of the teacher and students from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional d'Amiens, will explore all styles and periods, from original music to transcriptions for Horn Quartet. From baroque to contemporary, from Mozart to Barboteu, from film music arrangements to modern
compositions, the quartet aims to seduce and astonish you with its incredible palette of sound!
