The bombardments of May 1940 led to a radical transformation of the Abbeville town center. Conceived during the Second World War, Abbeville?s new town center was the scene of innovation and major restructuring, without wiping the slate clean of the city?s past. Come and discover this important heritage of the 1950s, the work of two great figures in architecture and urban planning: Jacques Gréber and Clément Tambuté.
