In Picardy, the word ?courti? was used to designate an enclosed garden surrounded by a hedge. The NRP has set itself the goal of preserving the villages known as ?village-courtils? which are unique in that they are surrounded by a bocage halo. Come and visit one of them and discover the assets of a courtil and how to protect it.
