This musical show is based on private photographs and eyewitness accounts of the terrible bombing raids that totally disfigured Abbeville (resulting in an unofficial death toll of 2,000 on May 20, 1940 alone, when 4,800 bombs rained down), and culminated in the Liberation on September 3, 1944. For the occasion, the Harmonie de Vauchelles-les-Quesnoy will perform "La déchirure", backed by a male choir.
