2ème journée de la clarinette

If you're a clarinet enthusiast, an enlightened amateur or simply curious, this weekend is for you! The "Clarinettes en Picardie" association, in partnership with the Conservatoire de la Baie de Somme, is offering a weekend dedicated to this beautiful instrument. On Saturday November 16, you'll be welcomed by leading French and international clarinet brands. You'll be able to try out the latest models, and talk to luthiers, publishers and manufacturers of reeds, mouthpieces and ligatures. Nathalie LEFEVRE, soloist and professor at the Royal Conservatories of Brussels and Mons, will be offering a public masterclass for advanced students and chamber music ensembles (registration required). She will perform at the end of the day, accompanied by the Saint-Pierre d?Amiens wind band, conducted by Christophe Tamboise.
You can also join the clarinet choir workshop led by Sida BESSAÏH, who will be rehearsing throughout the day, with a public performance scheduled for late afternoon. The 22nd Clarenpic competition will be held on November 16 and 17, 2024, before an exceptional jury of internationally renowned personalities (registration required at: concoursclarenpic@gmail.com).
