Chapelle de Monflières

This Chapel, built around 1160, is dedicated to Mary. In 1778, the Virgin of Monflières received a golden cloth dress. This dress is exhibited in the Chapel at the Heritage Days in September each year.

About

Built in the 12th century and dedicated to Mary, this charming chapel houses a Gothic pulpit and many curious ex-votos. On August 15th, it is the country setting for the ostentation of the dress offered to the Virgin by Marie Antoinette and made by Rose Bertin.
