Parc du Marquenterre

Located between Le Crotoy and Quend, in Saint-Quentin-en-Tourmont, the Marquenterre park is an ornithological reserve, a must-see during your stay on the Picardy coast.

About

The Parc du Marquenterre is a true jewel for nature lovers, an oasis of serenity where land and sea meet in harmony. This natural sanctuary extends over 260 hectares, home to dunes, pine forests, wetlands and marshes, dedicated entirely to the preservation and observation of hundreds of migratory birds.

From our observation huts, you'll have a front-row seat to the aerial ballet of birdlife. Our passionate naturalist guides will share their knowledge of wildlife with you, making every visit to the Parc du Marquenterre unique and memorable, and in every season.

To take your experience even further, we offer guided walks, themed seminars, photography or ornithology courses... a variety of experiences to deepen your connection with nature.

Practicalities: a unique 6 km route (2 shortcuts), 13 observatories, free to visit, binoculars essential (hire on site if required).
On site, you'll find free parking, a restaurant and a store with a bookshop. You can reach the park by bus, car or camper van, and thanks to cycle paths, you can also come by bike. See you soon!
