Tribute to Daniel Boulanger
(1922-2014)

Theater is often a mirror in which life is reflected with particular intensity, and Daniel Boulanger's Le Beau Voyage is no exception. A prolific author, Boulanger is known for his talents as a short story writer, poet, novelist and screenwriter. A native of the Oise region and former member of the Académie Goncourt, he published Le Beau Voyage with Gallimard in 1985.

This play immerses us in the lives of Irène and Alexandre, two characters whose destinies are intertwined in a whirlwind of emotions. Railway stations, symbols of departures and arrivals, are the places where everything begins, where unexpected encounters take place and where journeys, whether dreamt or real, take flight.

The Baltimbanques company has appropriated this work and brought it to life on stage to mark the tenth anniversary of its author's death.
