Projection “Invincible : l’histoire du Général Stanislaw Maczek”

Following the path of General Maczek, the director traveled to Ukraine, France, Scotland and the Netherlands to collect archive images and moving testimonies. General Stanis?aw Maczek was commander of the famous 1st Polish Armored Division, which operated as part of the Allied military forces during the Second World War. The troops he led took part in battles on the Western Front, notably the Battle of Normandy, and then in the liberation of numerous towns in France (Abbeville, Hesdin, Saint-Omer, Aire-sur-la-Lys), Belgium and the Netherlands.
