Eglise Saint-Pierre – Cayeux-sur-Mer

As the old church was too far from the new fishermen's dwelling place, it was decided to rebuild it close to the boat grounding area and the auction area.

About

The building, dedicated to the Apostle Saint Peter, present in the city today, was built on August 3, 1902. Its construction was led by a former industrialist, Mr Black, who generously gave his time to make it possible to provide the Cayolese with a new place of worship. This vast church, which can accommodate up to 500 people, has notable stained-glass windows and statues as well as an organ dating from 1913 in perfect working order.
