The Maison de la Baie de la Somme was opened to the public in July 1984. The House was built on the site of a former farmhouse "la ferme du Petit Teratu". Today it has become an interpretation centre to better understand the bay.

A house to understand, see and hear the Bay of the Somme, its evolution, its flora and fauna and more particularly its seal colony:

Reconstitutions of several landscapes of the Picardy Coast, staged and sounded.Films in permanent projection : Bookstore about the Bay, birds and the environment. Educational workshops, guided nature outings to discover the estuarine environment, the fauna, the flora, the traditional activities of the Bay.
